Katharine D’Amico is the Academic Director of Hybrid Global Excellence Executive MBA at Esade. She is a professor in Communication Strategy, Leadership & Applied Neuroscience in different programs. She collaborates with Executive Education and Corporate Programs in several Fortune 500 companies like Microsoft, Facebook, Amazon and Pepsico, and contributes as Keynote speaker and program lead on Communication Strategy, Leadership, Applied Neuroscience and the gender dynamics of language.
Katharine has wide experience as a professional mentor in public speaking and deck pitch management at EIT HEALTH, KIC Innoenergy and the EIC Accelerator, The European Society of Women Engineers and the Women STEM Congress. In addition, she is Financial Times Women Leadership 2023 Conference speaker and a board member at the Women´s Empowerment Club at ESADE Alumni. She has mentored more than 900 startups in the past 5 years and serves as mentor in-house for world-class accelerators in Spain and the EU. She is also CEO at SWALA Ventures, and a business angel in tech startups at pre-seed and seed stages.
