Annelore Huyghe is an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship in the Department of Strategy and General Management. Before this role, she held academic appointments at Bayes Business School in London (United Kingdom) and QUT Business School in Brisbane (Australia). Dr Huyghe received her PhD from Ghent University in Belgium. She participated in different post-graduate seminars at Babson College and Harvard Business School.
Dr Huyghe is an expert in the field of entrepreneurship, taking either a social-psychological or a sociological lens on new venture creation. Her research focuses on three core areas: the interplay of emotion and cognition in entrepreneurs' actions and well-being; entrepreneurship in new, oppositional market categories (e.g., craft beer, green energy, in-vitro meat); and drivers and processes of academic entrepreneurship.
