Antonio Carrascosa is a Commercial Technician and State Economist in Spain. He is currently an independent director of Unicaja and professor of the Master in Financial Regulation at the University of Navarra. He regularly collaborates with the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in the analysis of the financial systems of some countries (Georgia, Iceland, Egypt, Angola, China, etc.) and in training courses for banking supervisors. 

He has been Director of the Single Resolution Board (2015-2020) and General Director of the Fund for Orderly Bank Restructuring -FROB- (2012-2015). Previously, he has been, among other positions, Director General of Economic Policy of the Ministry of Economy, Director of Regulatory Compliance at PwC, Director General of Entities of the National Securities Market Commission, Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Spanish Embassy in Tokyo and Deputy Director General of the Treasury. Representing the Spanish State, he has been director of Caja Postal, Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre, Consorcio de Compensación de Seguros, AENA, ICEX, etc.
