David Grayson has been working at the interface of business and society for 40 years. David has chaired several task-forces and statutory bodies for the UK Government and chaired charities and social enterprises. He currently chairs the Institute of Business Ethics and also the charity Carers UK. From 2007 to 2017, David was director of the Doughty Centre for Corporate Responsibility (CR) and Professor of Corporate Responsibility at Cranfield School of Management. He is now Emeritus Professor.

David has written eight books including: Everybody’s business: Managing risks and opportunities in today’s global society; and All In: The future of business leadership - the latter co-authored with Chris Coulter and Mark Lee. David received the OBE in H.M The Queen’s Birthday Honours List 1994 for services to business and the CBE in 1999 for services to disability. David holds Masters degrees from the Universities of Cambridge, Newcastle and Brussels; and an Honorary Doctorate of Law from London SouthBank University.
