Jonas is an Assistant Professor at IE University. Previously, we was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the department of People Management and Organization at Esade. Before joining Esade, Jonas completed his PhD in Psychology at the Department of Developmental, Personality and Social Psychology of Ghent University. During his PhD, he did a research stay at the University of Michigan.
His research falls into two research programs. The first one is Judgment and Decision Making, which focuses on what makes people believe whether information is true or false, and how false beliefs can be adjusted. The second one is Political Psychology, which investigates the role of reasoning in political and intergroup attitudes.
