Katharina Schmid
Professor, Department of People Management and Organization at Esade
Katharina is Associate Professor in Organizational Behaviour in the Department of People Management and Organization. Before joining Esade, Katharina she was a lecturer and senior researcher at University of Oxford. She has also held a position as Research Fellow at the Max-Planck-Institute for the study of ethnic and religious diversity in Germany.
Katharina holds a PhD in Social Psychology, as well as a BSc (Hons) in Applied Psychology. Her research interests lie broadly in social and organizational psychology, and organizational behaviour. Her current research falls into three inter-related areas: Social identity and intergroup dynamics; managing multiple groups; diversity, prejudice and stereotyping.
