Mar Vila is the Vice Dean of Faculty at Esade. Previously, she was Director of the Department of Economics, Finance and Accounting, where she is an Associate Professor. She holds a PhD in Business Administration and Management from Esade.
Her research and teaching activity has concentrated on the area of management control and on the sphere of tourism industry. In particular, her lines of research refer to performance measurements, and critical factors of success of tourism businesses. Previously, Mar worked in companies such as KPMG Peat Marwick, BSCH and CIRSA.
