Nanita Ferrone is the Director of Fusion Point at Esade, dedicated to experimental challenge based learning through design thinking. She is a Teaching Fellow in the Department of Operations, Innovation and Data Sciences focused on innovation and design thinking for masters and executive education. Nanita is the founder and director of Fakawee, a boutique strategy and innovation consultancy, which helps organisations to accelerate innovation though design thinking. She has designed and facilitated more than 120 workshops with more than 1.000 participants from 25 countries.
Previously Nanita led international strategy projects at Indra Consulting (Europraxis) in more than 20 countries across 5 continents. She has worked with organisations ranging from the UN and World Bank to governments, NGOs, entrepreneurs and corporates. Nanita was the interim CEO of the Cape IT Initiative, the leading incubator for startups in the Western Cape, South Africa. Previously Nanita worked as an operations risk analyst in investment banks such as Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank and BNP Paribas in London.
