Teresa Duplá Marín

Teresa Duplá Marín holds a Full Professor (Catedrática URL) at the Department of Law at Esade. She has a PhD in Law with cum laude distinction from the University of Barcelona. She completed a double bachelor's degree in Law at the European Institute of Law and Economics (INEDE, now the International University of Catalonia) and at UNED. She teaches courses on Foundations of Private Law, Family and Inheritance Law, Conflict Management, Mediation, and Negotiation.

Her areas of specialization in recent years include family patrimonial law, compliance in the field of inheritance, current issues in family and inheritance law, the new disability and support model, and its connections with economic and business law. She leads the Esade research group on Conflict Management, which focuses on multidisciplinary projects related to the analysis of contemporary conflicts and issues, alternative dispute resolution systems, and the development of efficient conflict-management systems and models for companies and institutions.
