Rosa Sanz: "Every four months, we open the board to all employees"

The Esade Center for Corporate Governance (CGC) is celebrating its fifth anniversary and will soon kick off the 15th edition of its Programa para Consejeros. In honor of this milestone, we’re launching the podcast Voces del Consejo, where the center’s director and Esade Madrid’s director, Mario Lara, interviews alumni of the program. We’ll delve into their diverse professional journeys and explore the most pressing issues in an increasingly complex and volatile business environment. 

Our first guest is Rosa María Sanz, president of the Corporate Governance Center’s alumni club, which now has over 700 members. She attended the fifth edition of the program in 2020 and is currently an independent board member at IBERPAPEL and EDP Redes España, where she also chairs the Audit Committee. She is also an independent board member at EIRGRID, the state-owned Irish electricity grid operator, where she chairs the Energy and Markets Committee. Altogether, she brings nearly 30 years of experience in the energy sector.
