Carlos Carrasco-Farré is Assistant Professor in the Department of Data, Analytics, Technology and AI at Esade. He studies how AI and algorithmic systems reshape organizations, markets and the emotions and morality of public discourse, combining computational methods with organizational and institutional theory. His research has been published in FT50 journals such as Academy of Management Review, Journal of Management Information Systems, or Research Policy. He serves as Academic Editor at PLOS ONE in the Social Science and Computer Science sections, and reviews for journals across information systems and management. 

He holds a PhD from Esade, awarded summa cum laude and distinguished with the Ramon Llull Extraordinary Doctoral Award. He holds a Master of Research in Management Sciences (Esade), a Master of Science in Public and Social Policy (UPF and Johns Hopkings University), a Bachelor in Political Science (Pompeu Fabra University) and executive diplomas from The London School of Economics, Harvard Business School, or The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Esade full time, he held teaching and research positions at Toulouse Business School and IESE Business School.
