Dr. George Chondrakis is director of the Esade Entrepreneurship Institute and Associate Professor of strategic management in the Strategy and General Management Department. Before joining Esade, he was Assistant Professor of strategic management at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a post-doctoral research fellow at the Said Business School, University of Oxford. He holds a PhD in Management from the University of Oxford.
George's research interests include technology strategy, supplier relationships, mergers and acquisitions and intellectual property rights. His work has been published in leading academic journals such as Organization Science, Research Policy, and the Strategic Management Journal. He is member of the Academy of Management and the Strategic Management Society. Outside academia, George engages in consulting by acting as strategic advisor startups.
