Senior lecturer, Department of Strategy and General Management at Esade
Ignasi Carreras is a senior lecturer in the Department of Strategy and General Management at Esade, director of Esade’s Executive Education programmes for NGOs and non-profits and director of the Esade-PwC Social Leadership Programme at the Institute for Social Innovation, of which he is also the founder and former director. He is the president of Oxfam Intermón and a member of Oxfam’s International Board, deputy chair of the Jaume Bofill Foundation and a board member of the Hazlo Possible Foundation.
Ignasi has been director general of Oxfam Intermón, where he worked from 1988 to 2006, and is a member of Oxfam International’s management committee. He has worked in government, universities and the private sector, overseeing various programmes related to energy saving. He is the author of ten books on various issues in leadership and social innovation and of numerous articles.
