Juan Moscoso del Prado Hernández (Pamplona,1966) is a senior fellow at the Center for Global Economy and Geopolitics (EsadeGeo). He has a PhD in economic and business sciences from the Autonomous University of Madrid (after graduating from the same university with a specialization in economic theory), as well as a master’s degree in economics from the College of Europe in Bruges (Belgium) and a diploma in economics from the University of Kent (United Kingdom).
He has 30 years of professional experience in international economic relations, economic analysis and studies, finance, business administration, diplomacy, European affairs and institutional relations, both in the public and private sectors (Spanish Congress of Deputies, Economic and Social Council of Spain, AFI International Financial Analysts, Deusto Business School at the University of Deusto, Carlos III University of Madrid, and the Banco Español de Crédito as a counselor, private consultant in strategic matters, and corporate economist; as an expert for the European Commission, the International Labour Organization, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development; as well as in various educational and civil society organizations. He is also a fellow of the Aspen Institute España and a member of the Council of the European Council on Foreign Relations.
