Tanushree Jhunjhunwala is a Lecturer at the Department of Economics, Finance and Accounting at Esade. She obtained her Ph.D. in Economics from The Ohio State University, USA in 2018. Prior to joining Esade, she was an Assistant Professor of Economics at Washington College in Maryland, USA where she taught several economics courses such as beginner and intermediate level microeconomic theory, game theory and behavioral economics.

Her research integrates behavioral economics with experimental methods to better understand consumer search behavior, social preferences and power dynamics in political and organizational frameworks, and has been published in the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization. Tanushree has presented her work at various conferences such as the Economic Science Association Meetings both North-American and World Meetings, Behavioral and Experimental Economics of the Mid-Atlantic, Science of Philanthropy Initiative UChic, the Midwest Economics Association, among others. She has also given seminars at multiple institutions including Carlos III, and University of Barcelona, among others.
