Elena Bou’s professional journey is the story of a leap from academia to the business world. As co-founder and Innovation Director at EIT InnoEnergy, she recently inaugurated the 2024-2025 academic year at Esade and Ramon Llull University. Her career as a professor at Esade is closely tied to the creation of EIT InnoEnergy, a unique company born from a communal European effort to leverage innovation research in support of the energy transition. This work earned her the 2023 Nobel Sustainability Trust Award.
