Frances Colon: "The IRA was designed to endure through any administration"

EsadeGeo Director Angel Saz-Carranza talks to Frances Colon about the progress of the energy transition in the US and the effects that the implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) is having. In addition, they discuss the future of the main industrial policy of the American country before the possible return of Donald Trump to the White House.
Frances Colon is the Director of International Climate Policy at the Center for American Progress and a member of the Biden administration's Science and Technology Advisory Council. She was also deputy advisor on Science and Technology to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and part of the Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas pushed by President Barack Obama. She holds a PhD in neuroscience from Brandeis University and combines her career in climate science with diplomacy and public policy.
