Alejandro Santana is an academic assistant in the Department of Society, Politics and Sustainability at Esade. His teaching areas include corporate socio-political environment, international organisations and globalisation, sociology, and public policy. He holds a doctorate in Business Administration and Management by Esade, a master's degree in Commerce and International Finance, a degree in Political Science and Public Administration by the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and a degree in International Relations by the Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA).

Santana is also a professor of public policy and economics at UNED. His research interests include sociology, geopolitics, globalisation, international economy, and corporate social responsibility.
