Aránzazu Narbona is a lecturer in the Department of Economics, Finance and Accounting at Esade and Academic Director of the Women in Senior Management Executive Program (PROMOCIONA Project), as well as the InOn Circular Economy Program and other B2B programs on strategy, sustainability and leadership. Her research activity focuses on international economics, business internationalization, geopolitics and circular economy, and the economics of language. Since 2022, she is a researcher at the Observatorio Nebrija del Español. She has been Visiting Scholar and Visiting Professor at numerous international universities.

She holds a degree in Economics and a Master in Applied Economics, a PhD. Cum Laude (unanimously) from Sciences-Po Paris and the University of Alcalá, and a PDD from IESE with the LIDERA Scholarship from the Community of Madrid and the EU for Women Executives.  She received the First 'José Luis Sampedro' Research Award from the World Economics Society (2015) and the Doctoral Award of Excellence from ANECA and the Vitalia Foundation (2005). She is an investor in EdTech and sustainability startups through Nuclio and a mentor for female entrepreneurs in the Conector accelerator, as well as a member of the Esade Business Angels Network (BAN).
