Mercedes Segura is an academic collaborator at Esade, where she teaches Public Speaking Based on Acting Techniques and Film Analysis. She helps managers and entrepreneurs to communicate better through acting techniques. She holds a degree in Business Administration and MBA from Esade, and a Master CEMS from HEC-Paris. She was a marketing manager in multinationals for 13 years (Procter & Gamble, Reckitt Benckiser, PwC, Globomedia). She was also director of ExEd programs at Esade Madrid for 4 years.
In parallel, she developed her passion for acting. She studied Dramatic Art at Nancy Tuñón, Expresivity at Corazza in Madrid, and Acting in Front of the Camera with Esteve Rovira. He founded and performed for four years at Theatrum in Luxembourg. He has produced theater: El Tràmit by F. Trías de Bes; Algo más inesperado que la muerte by Elvira Lindo; Marranadas by Marie Darrieussecq; and cinema (La gran invención, pre-selected Goya 2015). He directed the group Theatrum (La Ratonera, 2019-21). He has published the essays: A escena! Lo que el teatro aporta a la comunicación empresarial (Ed. Urano) and ¡Me voy! Todo lo bueno de vivir fuera (Ed. B) about her experiences as an expatriate.
