In this episode of Voices from the Boardroom, Mario Lara, director of Esade Madrid and the Corporate Governance Center, interviews Ana Plaza Arregui. Ana was a participant in the second edition of the Programa para Consejeros in 2017 and currently serves as an independent board member and chair of the Audit and Compliance Committee at several companies, including Línea Directa Aseguradora, Corporación Financiera Alba, Globalvía Infraestructuras, and Grenergy Renovables. 

Ana Plaza brings over 25 years of experience in finance and auditing. She has held roles such as CFO at Microsoft Ibérica and Telvent, where she managed an IPO on Nasdaq. Additionally, from 2012 to 2016, she served as CEO of CEOE. In their conversation, they discuss the role of the board during crises, corporate governance in non-profit organizations, and the differences in governance between publicly traded companies and private equity firms, among other topics.
