Joan M. Batista-Foguet

Joan M. Batista Foguet is a professor in the Department of People Management and Organisation at Esade. He is the director of Esade's Leadership Development Research Centre (GLEAD), a research centre devoted to helping people, teams and organisations unlock their leadership potential. His fields of interest include, among others, research design, the improvement of measurement in social sciences, emotional competences measurement and development, learning spaces, management control systems, and quality of life, subjects on which he has published various articles in leading journals.
Before joining Esade in 1989, he was a lecturer and associate professor of Statistics at the School of Engineering of Barcelona (UPC-Technical University of Catalonia) and associate professor of the Faculty of Psychology (University of Barcelona).
